Rev. Joseph Chan

Joe was born in Calgary but grew up in Richmond for most of his life. He has been serving in pastoral ministry for over 2 decades in Alberta and BC. Joe currently serves as the English Congregation Pastor at Fraser Lands Church in Vancouver, BC. He is passionate about mentoring and equipping leaders, helping them discover God's place for them in HIS story. He values thoughtful, Christ-centered theology and is committed to building sustainable ministries that reflect Jesus by loving God wholeheartedly and serving people faithfully.

In addition to his pastoral role, Joe has volunteered since 2016 as the Associate Executive Director of English Ministry with the Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (CCACA), focusing on coaching English Pastors and Congregations in strategic planning, effectiveness, and wellness.

Joe has been married to Monique since 2003, and they have 3 teenage children. In their spare time, the Chan’s love bouldering, hiking, and camping. On his own, Joe likes to play guitar and share a conversation over a cup of coffee!"
