Mr. Eugene Lau

Raised in Richmond, BC, Eugene’s career has taken him from pharmaceutical research to law, and now to fund development in the non-profit sector. He currently serves as the BC Director of Development and Partnerships for International Justice Mission (IJM) Canada. In this role, he shares IJM’s vision to invite partnership in the mission to protect people from slavery and violence.

Eugene is passionate about inspiring people to do justice, especially for those who are vulnerable. Together with his wife, Hannah, Eugene served in the field with IJM as a Legal Fellow, supporting the fight against human trafficking in South Asia.

Eugene and Hannah attend Richmond Chinese Alliance Church, where he serves in the worship ministry. In their free time, they like to hike forest trails.
