Dr. Peter Chu

Dr. Peter Chu is married (Hyon) with two children (Charlotte, Katie). He is an adjunct professor in Biblical Studies at Tyndale Seminary and a general/trauma surgeon at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto. Since 1998, Peter and his family have served as "long term - short term" volunteers at Galmi Hospital, an SIM mission hospital in Niger. Hyon is a graduate of the University of Toronto (MD), Tyndale Seminary (MTS), and Johns Hopkins University (MPH). She is a full time missionary serving as the Global Director of People Development with SIM International. Peter and his family are members of The Peoples Church and active in various ministry roles. Peter enjoys canoeing, badminton, and dreams of being a cabinet maker.
