Rev. Andrew Cheung

Born in America and raised in Canada to Hong Kong immigrants, Andrew has spent most of his life bridging cultures. After a career as a Mechanical Engineer in airline operations, he entered pastoral ministry while completing a Master of Divinity at Regent College and graduated from the Arrow Leadership program. Prior to Washington Community Fellowship, Andrew served as a staff pastor in a variety of Protestant church traditions - hence his identification as a “spiritual mutt within Christian orthodoxy.”

A constant and inquisitive learner, he loves to have conversations with people about what makes them tick. Most of all, one of his greatest joys as a pastor comes from recognizing the glimmers of God’s grace at work in people’s lives, especially when that grace intersects with areas of flourishing and justice in our world. Andrew also currently serves as a board member for Evangelicals 4 Justice.
