Rev. Dr. Douglas Wong

Doug was born and raised in Vancouver, where he lives with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, Cohen, Ryen, and Hudsen. He serves as the English Ministry Pastor at Lord’s Love Church and is passionate about preaching God’s Word, discipling others, and walking alongside people as they encounter God and experience His transforming power.

Growing up, Doug dreamed of playing professional baseball, but God had other plans! He earned a BSc in Physical Geography from Simon Fraser University, an M.Div from ACTS Seminaries, and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Tyndale Seminary in 2024.

Outside of ministry, Doug finds joy in family time, cheering on his eldest son at baseball games, Saturday morning pancakes with his youngest, kitchen dance parties with his daughter, discovering coffee shops, and long-distance running. He loves people: hearing their stories, sharing life's highs and lows, and seeing how God is at work in their lives.
